Dodging Giants
TIMID hates basketball because the bigger kids always shove him around—he feels as small as a grasshopper. BRAVE suggests a Bible story that might help, and the scene shifts to three spies returning from Canaan: faithful CALEB, and the fearful NAHBI and GEUEL, who can only see the giants. After the spies exit, TIMID has found his courage: next time the big kids show up, he will remember that God is bigger.

A Night with the Lions
Two children are chatting about the Bible story of Daniel when one of them falls asleep and dreams of meeting an actual lion from the famous pit in Babylon. The lion — friendly, on vacation, and very happy to talk — tells his side of the story firsthand, including the surprising part about tummy rubs.

A Stranger in the Manger
Two modern children discuss Christmas giving, and CHILD 2 learns that the best presents don’t require money. A cast of stable animals—BABY LAMB, MAMA SHEEP, ROOSTER, and DONKEY—play out the night of Jesus’s birth from their perspective, discovering that the mysterious Someone in the manger is the Son of God. When the children return, CHILD 2 leaves with a new understanding of what Christmas is really about.

Walking on Water: A Fish Tale
Three fish are delighted to finally be in a puppet show, but they’re not supposed to be on first. When BOY and GIRL set up the story of Jesus walking on water, the fish eagerly take the stage to tell it from their underwater perspective—watching Jesus walk across the surface, Peter step out of the boat, and the wind stop the moment Jesus and Peter return to the disciples. GIRL begins the play skeptical of miracles and ends it wanting to swim with the fish when Jesus returns.

Hidden Treasure
CHILD 1 wonders aloud what the kingdom of heaven is like. GRANDPA suggests they use a time machine to watch one of Jesus's parables play out. They observe two Bible-era children excitedly sharing the news of a man who sold everything he owned to buy a field — because he'd found a priceless treasure hidden inside it. Back in the present, GRANDPA helps CHILD 1 understand that belonging to God's kingdom means giving up everything, and getting something far greater in return.

The Faith of a Child
BOY visits his dying GRANDPA, who believes in Jesus as a teacher but has never trusted Him as Savior. BOY challenges him gently, and GRANDPA admits he prayed for the first time the night before—and felt led to read John. To illustrate, two Bible-era children (RACHEL and BENJAMIN) tell their GRAMMA how Jesus fed five thousand people with Benjamin’s small lunch. When BOY and GRANDPA return, GRANDPA realizes that his prayer was answered after all—and he’s finally ready to open his Bible.

One Good Goat
CHILD 1 and CHILD 2 play a game of "what animal would you be?"—eagles, deer, lions, lambs. While they leave to make a list, PUPPY gets into an unexpected conversation with GOAT and PIG about how dogs, goats, and pigs are portrayed in the Bible: not very flatteringly. But GOAT explains the most important goat in all of Scripture—the scapegoat—and how it pointed forward to Jesus, who took all our sin on Himself. When the children return, CHILD 1’s new favorite animal is the goat.

The Stars Have Names
A young child tells his grandparents that when he grows up, he wants to be God—because then he could finally be in charge. Gramma and Grampa hear him out thoughtfully as the child works through his logic: he’d fix bedtimes, diet, wars, and injustice. But the more he talks, the more complicated the job becomes. Five stars from the universe—Arcturus, Vega, Capella, Alpha Centauri, and Polaris—arrive to help him see what God’s creation really looks like, and the child leaves with a new appreciation for the One who already knows every star by name.

Psalm 1, or The Happy Tree
CHILD 1 is miserable—parents fighting, phone taken away, nothing to do. CHILD 2 and CHILD 3 try to interest them in trees, and in Psalm 1. When CHILD 1 falls asleep, two talking trees play out the psalm’s metaphor: TREE 2 is struggling in dry rocks; TREE 1 introduces her to the Gardener, who moves her to good soil and water. CHILD 1 wakes up changed by the dream—and begins to understand that Jesus is the Gardener, the good earth, and the water all at once.

What people are saying
Used in ministry around the world
"The puppet shows were enjoyed by both the kids and the adults who brought them. Our students had a great time performing a couple of skits — the puppets and scripts were easy to use in the variety of settings we had."
Nathan Smith
Dean of Students, Arrowhead Christian Academy
"Kids engage with something personal, not a screen, and the stories stay with them. I've seen children lean in, ask hard questions, and connect biblical truths to their own lives. Puppet ministry is discipleship in one of its most creative and effective forms."
Christa Bower
Puppet team leader, Packinghouse Church, Redlands CA
"Puppets are interesting for the children, and the information is good for them, but adults enjoy them too. It also helps me to bring the word of God to people who might otherwise have a hard time understanding."
